"A wryly observed, gleefully absurd and oddly moving piece on the beauty and strangeness of the tangle of invisible bonds that bind us together." Katy Naylor (The Voidspace)
The Missing Theatre is currently working on finding funding/space for research on a new original and collaborative project.
Set in a typical administrative office (individual desks separated by small cubicle walls), the workers begin to realise that they are attached with small strings to the space in which they are working.
THERE IS NO PLURALITY.
ONE SUBSTANCE HOLDS ALL OF REALITY.
Quantum entanglement is a process whereby electrons or photons are essentially indistinguishable. As a result, two entangled indistinguishable particles are inextricably linked regardless of temporal or spatial separation.
Are humans meant to be in routine? Does this keep us content and allow us to ignore our larger problems?
We must materialise the passing of time as well as the connection between us or else it might all just slip away. We are all connected and maybe through each other will we discover something that’s bigger than ourselves.
What happens when we’re on hold? How do we perceive people working in offices as artists? What is the caricature/irony of this?
